Themys intervened on the World Europa

The last liner built by the Chantiers de l'Atlantique.

Themys has supplied, installed and commissioned a NACOS PLATINUM navigation bridge from Wärtsilä Voyage on the World Europa (MSC Cruises' latest giant cruise ship).

This navigation system benefits from the latest Nacos Platinum features such as "radar merging" which allows the merging of the image of up to 4 radars. The merged image allows a 360° radar visibility despite the important masks created by the ship's super structures.
 
Delivered to the Italian-Swiss company on October 24, 2022, the "W34" is the first of a new series of cruise ships powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG).
 
A fuel that reduces polluting emissions. Indeed, this fuel could reduce up to 99% of sulfur oxide (SOx) emissions, up to 85% of nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions and 25% of carbon oxide (CO2) emissions.
